History of formation and development of the Student Forum

1st Student Forum, December 8, 2020, Hanoi-Club Hotel, Tay Ho, Ha Noi (SF’2020)

  • Co-organized by School of Electrical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)
  • 60 full papers accepted.
  • 15 Best Presentation Awards.
  • The full papers were published in the proceeding of the Student Forum 2020 with the ISBN code of Bach Khoa Publishing House.

After the success of the first Student Forum, six technical universities in Viet Nam (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Electric Power University, Hanoi University of Industry, VNU Hanoi-University of Engineering and Technology, Thuy Loi University, The University of Danang – University of Science and Technology) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to maintain this meaningful activity.

2nd Student Forum, January 8-9, 2022, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (SF’2021)

  • Co-organized by School of Electrical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)
  • 174 full papers accepted.
  • 25 Best Presentation Awards.
  • The full papers were published in the proceeding of the Student Forum 2021 with ISBN code and were also selected to be published in Automation magazine.

3rd Student Forum, December 24-25, 2022, Hanoi University of Industry (SF’2022)

  • Co-organized by Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Faculty of Electronic Engineering – Hanoi University of Industry (HAUI) and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)
  • More than 100 full papers accepted.
  • About 30 Best Presentation Awards.
  • The full papers were published in Journal of Science and Technology – Hanoi University of Industry with P-ISSN 1859-3585 and E-ISSN 2615-9619.

4th Student Forum, December 9-10, 2023, VNU University of Engineering and Technology.
