The Student Forum has been held annually since 2020 under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on scientific activities, training, and career orientation in the field of Energy among 7 Technical Universities in Vietnam: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hue University, Thuyloi University, Electric Power University, Hanoi University of Industry, University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, and University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang. The forum is primarily sponsored by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) under the Technical Assistance Cooperation in the Energy Sector.
This forum serves as an excellent platform for students to exchange ideas and enhance their awareness and research capabilities regarding current issues in the energy field. Challenges such as climate change, environmental concerns, and the ongoing energy transition have garnered significant attention from various stakeholders, particularly the student community—those preparing to enter the labor market and directly contribute to addressing these challenges.
Marking the 7th edition and the first time hosted by Hue University, SF2026 focuses on the theme “Emerging Energy Technologies for Net Zero”. The forum provides a prestigious academic platform for students, lecturer-researchers, enterprises, and management agencies to foster interdisciplinary cooperation and promote technology transfer in green energy and sustainable development.
Publication
Valid papers will be selected for publication in the proceedings and presentation at the Forum; outstanding papers will be selected for publication in Science and Technology Journals listed in the State Council for Professor Title recognition points of the universities within the 07 MoU partner group.
